Note: Jane Ann Brewer is the paternal grandmother of Jane Ann O'Connor Foster; James is her probable brother

Martin married Mary Brewer, daughter of James William Brewer and Mary Hepditch, on 23 Dec 1896 in St. Kyran's, Newfoundland. (Mary Brewer was born in 1864 in Clattice Harbor, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland and died after 1935.)
