Facebook posting Jan 2020 Darryl Rogers - My grandmother (Marie Connors) knows very little about Monica Hapgood. She thinks Monica came from Davis Cove but wasn't 100% sure. She remembers David and Monica in Clattice Hr, saying their house was right across from the church/school. A number of their children went to her in school before they moved to the west coast. also..... Maude Lockyer Hollett - ...she came from isle valen also... Yvonne Hepditch - Monica Hapgood was born in Isle Valen on June 4, 1894. She married David Hepditch in St. Kyran's on Nov 29, 1914. I have not found any record of Hapgoods in Isle Valen. However, there were Hapgoods in Tack's Beach. There are two possible couples that could be her parents. My theory is her mother went to Isle Valen to a mid-wife when she was due and her birth recorded there.
