this couple's children: Charlotte, Ann dy,Mary Teresa, Isabelle dy, Isabelle dy, Elizabeth [married a Browne], Alphonsus b. Sep 1888 [married in 1915 in St. John's to Catherine Mullally b. Jan 1890 who had a sister Alice who was single in 1945 b. 1892] Alophonsus died in 1946 of uremia.
Alphonsus and Catherine had two sons who became priests: McDermott and Alphonsus and a son Fenton who died at age 22 during WWII while serving in the air force. Other sons were Joseph, Dennis Paul and Randall
