Agnes Marie Hickey (nee Browne)
Passed on: November 4th, 2012
Of Dunville, formerly of Bar Haven, Placentia Bay, passed peacefully away at her home on November 4, 2012. Predeceased by her loving husband, Stephen; her parents, James and Elizabeth Browne; her daughter, Rita; son-in-law, Raymond Hann and daughter-in-law, Beth; sisters: Margaret Grace, Veronica Gambin, Maryann Morris, Mercedes Browne, Stella Bennett, Maude Browne and Laura Mulrooney; special brothers, Patrick and Edward Browne. Mourning her passing and celebrating her life are her seven sons: Leonard (Elaine), Pats (Bev), Steve (Carm), Ted (Sue), Brian (Sandra), Barry (Debbie) and Glenn (Tina); seven daughters: Ethel Wettestein (Willie), Georgia, Vera Hynes (Bernie), Linda Kelly (Frank), Marella York (Jim), Thelma Kelly (Harold), Bridget Hickey (Chris) and Stella Taylor (Mike). Also, special niece and friend, Anna Bride Tobin, sister-in-law, Mary Hickey, Dunville, and special friend, Addie Bennett, Ferndale. Guardian angel to 28 very special grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and special furry friend, Ellie. She was a very special aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She has touched the lives of many and has left a positive legacy to all who were so fortunate to have known her. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitations on Monday, November 5, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, Dunville. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery, Dunville. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.

Agnes married Stephen F. Hickey. (Stephen F. Hickey was born in 1923, died in 1998 and was buried in St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery - Dunville, Newfoundland.)
