August 16, 1927 - August 15, 2010. Maude Browne of Long Harbour, formerly of Bar Haven, Placentia Bay. Passed peacefully away at Lions Manor Nursing Home on August 15, 2010. Predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth Browne; sisters: Margaret Grace, Veronica Gambin, Mary Ann Morris, Mercedes Browne, Stella Bennett, Laura Mulrooney and brother Patrick Browne. Mourning her passing and celebrating her life are her brother Edward Browne of Long Harbour; sister Agnes Hickey of Dunville; special nephew Tom Bennett of Long Harbour and sister-in-law Mary (Brennan) Browne of St. John's. She was a very special and much loved aunt to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne Monday 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Mass of Christian burial, Wednesday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Jerome's Church, Long Harbour. Interment to follow at Long Harbour Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the
Daffodil Place.
