Bridget M. Ryan (nee Hepditch)
Born: May 6th, 1959
Passed on: April 13th, 2018
It is with great love and deep sadness the family of Bridget Ryan, age 59 of Southern Harbour, announce her peaceful passing after an extensive battle with cancer, which she faced with the utmost strength, courage and determination. Bridget was surrounded by her family and under the wonderful care of staff at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit at the time of her passing. Bridget is predeceased by her beloved husband and soulmate, Anthony (2005) and grandson Anthony Ian (2011). Also predeceased by her parents Thomas and Alice Hepditch; brothers and sisters: John Will, Charles, Richard, George, Agnes and Veronica; parents-in-law John and Joan Ryan; brothers-in-law Michael and Aloysius. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughter's: Sandra (Michael), Stephanie (John) and Anastasia (Tyson); son Joey; grandchildren which she adored with all her heart: Gracie, Lilly, Jake and Alexis; brothers: Robert (Rose), Thomas (Linda), James (Patsy), David (Jesse) and Joseph (Rhonda); sisters: Pauline, Anastasia and Ellen (Terry); brothers-in-law: John (Margaret), Ernest (Jenny), Neil (Cathy) and Gordon; sisters-in-law: Gertrude (Larry), Eva (Cletus), Mercedes (Ches), Joan (Cliff), Elaine (Ross), Jackie (Fred), Vera (Daniel), Angie (Darren), Pauline (Jose), Christina, Aurelia and Eileen; fur babies Nikko and Boomer; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Dawn Armstrong, Carmel Collins (Nurse Practitioner) as well as the other numerous nurses and staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Centre, along with the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit. Your care, kindness and compassion will always be remembered. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Christ the King Church, Southern Harbour, Sunday, April 15th from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 16th at Christ the King Church, Southern Harbour, with inurnment to follow in the parish cemetery.

Bridget married Anthony Joseph Ryan, son of John Ryan and Joan, in 1980. (Anthony Joseph Ryan was born in 1958 in Red Island, Newfoundland, died on 10 Aug 2005 in Southern Harbour, Newfoundland and was buried in Christ the King Cemetery - Southern Harbour, Newfoundland.)
