McAlpine's Directory of 1904 mentions a Joseph Bavis of Petite Forte

for consideration:
Mary Elizabeth Bavis died 3 Sep 1907 age 16 ys of TB in Petite Forte
Francis Bavis born 1899 P. F and died 19 July 1926 at age 27 yrs in P. F. of TB- In 1921 census of P. F. he is living with Joseph White who is Head and single also and 4 yrs older. In the space where Francis' relationship to the Head of household is entered is written in above "boarder" the name Thomas Traverse [ who later married Veronica Bavis]
[Could these two persons be additional children of Joseph and Bridget Bavis?]

Joseph married Bridget Wakeham. (Bridget Wakeham was born in 1866 in Petit Forte, Newfoundland and died on 1 Aug 1904 in Petite Forte, Newfoundland.)
