HICKEY, Adrian - It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Adrian Hickey, age 72 years, on December 8, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by his loving family. Leaving with precious memories are his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Margaret; his three children: Eddy (Debbie); Shelley (John Sornig); Tina (Jim Power); five grandchildren: Curtis, Cassy, Jenna, Jonathan and Kevin. Predeceased by his parents: Mary and James Hickey; brothers: Garrett (Betty), James (Lucy), Leo (Imelda), Gerald (Josephine); sisters: Lucy, Monica (Mike), Bride (Bill); mother and father-in-law: Kathleen and William O'Reilly; brothers-in-law: Bill, Kevin (Alice), Mike, Pius; sisters-in-law: Jean, Shirl; also leaving to mourn: brother-in-law Rudy; sisters-in-law: Sheilagh (Clarence), Joni (John), Gertie (Gervey), Colleen (Ed), as well as a large circle of cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends, especially Tom and Joyce Summers in Texas. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday from 2 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place 2 pm on Saturday at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater.
