He leaves to mourn his wife Annie, two daughters Ann Duffy and Catherine Durrett, both in Ontario, four sons Archie, Peter, Michael, all in Nova Scotia and Rory in Mt. Pearl, seven step daughters Patsy Toorock in San Francisco, Bonnie Clouter and Kathy Mansfield, both of Stephenville, Sharon LeBrun, Edmonton, Vicky White, Cornwallis, N.S., Dawn Mills, Germany and Deirdre Rumbolt, Corner Brook, seven stepsons Sean Rumbolt, Labrador City, Glen Rumbolt, Bruce Rumbolt, Leslie Rumbolt, Damian Rumbolt, all of Alberta, Chipper Rumbolt and Lonnie Rumbolt, both of Stephenville. Two sisters Ann Kent and Catherine Turner, forty-four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Cynthia and daughters Rona and Mary. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon, June 11, with 2 p.m. mass from the Church of St. Stephen's, West St., Stephenville with interment being made in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
