TRAVERSE (nee Cochrane), Anne - Surrounded by her loving family and friends, Anne passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at the Health Science Centre. Predeceased by her husband, Peter Traverse, parents Mary Ellen & William Cochrane, sister Eileen, brothers: Pat, Daniel, William, Jim and John; son-in-law Paul Martin. Leaving to mourn daughters: Catherine Martin, Josephine Appleby (Lance), Eileen Traverse (Gerrit), Mary Traverse; sons: Dominic (Doreen), Wayne (Evelyn), Andrew (Bernadette), Gerard (Tina), Nick (Janet); grandchildren: Paula, David, Ann Marie, Peter, Christopher, Geoffrey, Byron, John, Christian, Brandon, Mitchell, Melissa, David, Liam, Tyler, Sarah; sisters: Catherine McCully, and Mary Dwyer; brother Michael Cochrane (Diann); sisters-in-law: Mildred, Magdalene, Joan Cochrane, and Rita Traverse, brother-in-law Tom (Lena). Many cherished memories are also shared by very close friends: Darren Foley, Joe Greene, Jason Ryan, Ambrose & Lorraine McCarthy. Funeral Mass to be held at Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia, on Thursday, August 18 at 10 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home. Public viewing Tuesday, August 16, 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Anne married Peter Francis Traverse, son of Michael Traverse and Catherine Hayes. (Peter Francis Traverse was born on 11 Aug 1923 in Newfoundland, Canada and died on 14 Oct 2008.)
