It is with great sadness that the family of the late James P. O'Toole announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at the age of 97 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Clothilda (Tillie) and four sons: Vincent (Charlotte) O'Toole in Labrador City, Jimmy (Jacquie) O'Toole in Ontario, Leonard (Mercedes) O'Toole in Labrador City, Anthony O'Toole in Point au Mal and six daughters: Ida Hawco in Port au Port, Irene Green in Florida, Mary (William) Bruce in Port au Port East, Imelda (Aloysius) Connors in Ottawa, Theresa (Albert) Murray in Labrador City, Debbie (Roger) Boone in New Brunswick and 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by one son, Joseph O'Toole. Friends may call at the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Point au Mal on Tuesday. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 5th at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Point au Mal with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Point au Mal. As expressions of sympathy; flowers or donations to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, 39 Queen Street in Stephenville.
