MULROONEY, Angela (nee Whiffen)'96 Passed peacefully away on November 14, 2007 at Placentia Health Care Centre, of Fox Harbour, age 79 years. Predeceased by husband Francis; daughters: Sharon and Fatima; son Jimmy; grandson Michael; parents, Vincent and Margaret Whiffen; sisters: Livina Goldsworthy and Helen Hudson; brothers: Vincent and Gerald (wife Mary) Whiffen; son-in-law Dave Blandin. Left with fond and loving memories, sons: Francis Jr. (Judy), Dunville, Pat, Fox Harbour, Lar (Jocelyn Davis), Sydney, NS; daughters: Rita (Louvourne Howe), Fox Harbour, Eita (Russell Lewis), Sydney, NS, Aurelia (Aloysuis Ryan), Fox Harbour, Faustina (Ed Penny), Sydney, NS, Vickie (Boyd Pitcher), Dunville, Jackie (Dick Hickey), St. John's, Debbie (Allie McPhee), Sydney, NS; sister Rita (Bill Wadman), Kingston, ON; brother Alfred Whiffen (Aquilla), Southern Harbour; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; son-in-law Kenneth Murphy, Dunville; brother-in-law Bill Goldsworthy, Dunville; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation Friday, November 16th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, November 17th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.; Sunday, November 18th, 2 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, November 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour.
