ENNIS, Doris (Collins) (nee Whittle) - Passed peacefully away at home in the presence of her caring family on Thursday, September 23, 2004, Doris Ennis, age 77. Predeceased by her first husband, Clem Collins; her parents Peter and Elizabeth Whittle; her brothers: Frank, Pius and William; infant brothers: Garfield and Frederick; and her sister Melita Gabriel. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her husband Patrick; the Collins family: Frank (Bernice), Betty (Dennis O'Flaherty), Rupert (Sharon) and Pius; the Ennis family: Marge (Ed Pittman), Pat (fianc e Kelly), Derm (Wendy), Jerome, Bill (Daphne), Kevin (Mary), Arlene (Gary Collins), Sheena (Jim Glencross) and Lorraine and 21 grandchildren, for whom she cared so deeply; also her brothers: Tom (Connie) and Max (Sheila) and her sisters: Myrtle Lye and Lillian Antle; daughter-in-law Cathie Collins; sisters-in-law: Angela Abbott, Nellie Whittle, Delia Whittle and Theresa Sullivan; brother-in-law George Collins (Elinor); special friend Dorothy (Dot) Pack, as well as a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday, 7-9 p.m. for family only; Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, September 27 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society (Corpus Christi Parish) or a charity of ones choice.
