MILES, J. Norman - Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on October 1, 2011 at the age 89. Leaving to mourn are his Sons Harold (Alice) Miles of St. John's, George (Alice) Miles of St. George's, and Robert Miles of Boswarlos; Daughters Rita (Mike) Siscoe of paradise, Catherine (Peter) Macdonald of Toronto, Debbie (Kevin Spearns) of St. John's and Rejena (Jon Faulds) of Edmonton; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great- grandson. At Norman's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date on the West Coast. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff and management of Chancellor Park whose care and devotion immeasurably enhanced the last year of his life. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, 43 St. Clare Avenue, Stephenville. Norman Miles passed away peacefully in St. John's, NL last October, at the age of 89 years. The family invite you to join them as they celebrate his life and also remember their mother, Muriel Miles. A reception will be held in the Church Hall immediately following the Service. Interment will take place on Tuesday, August 21st at 2:30 p.m. at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
