It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Julia Bedo announce her passing at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at the age of 80 years. She will be sadly missed by seven sons: David (Cora) of Kippens, Christopher of Port au Port, Sandy of Stephenville, Arthur (Dorothy) of Felix Cove, Joseph (Vera) of Felix Cove, Brendan (Sandra) of Port au Port, Francis (Victoria) of Felix Cove; three daughters: Norma (Jerry) Doucette of Felix Cove, Rachel Hunt (Paul) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Majella (Randy) LaCosta of Picadilly; three brothers: Robert Felix of Felix Cove, Charles (Doris) Felix of Stephenville, John (Jean) Felix of Brampton, Ontario; seven sisters: Florence (Don) Power of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Cecilia Janes of Stephenville, Barbara Felix of St. John's, Marion (Leonard) Gale of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Jessie Ballard of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Thelma (Reggie) Prado of Pickering, Ontario, Patricia (Pat) McLellan of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Joseph Bedo and two sons: Shannon and Terrance Bedo. Friends may call at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port au Port West, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port au Port West, with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville.

Mary married Michael Joseph Bedo. (Michael Joseph Bedo was born in 1922, died on 30 Dec 2000 in Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital - Stephenville, Newfoundland and was buried in Roman Catholic Cemetery - Port au Port East, Newfoundland.)
