BROTHERS, Annie (Ballard) - 1913-2005. Passed peacefully away on May 14, 2005, Annie Brothers, age 91, formerly of Bishop's Falls, residing in Deer Lake. Predeceased by her husband Denis, sons William and Leo; daughters Elizabeth and Alice, brothers Jack, Anthony and Bill, son-in-law Bern Ezekiel, sister Alice. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters Mary Ezekiel (Prescot Layden) of Deer Lake; Madonna (Jim) Hoskins of Seal Cove; Patricia (Jim) Greene of Bay Roberts; Bernadette Hart (Dave Dawe) of Grand Falls-Windsor; Joan (Peter) Cleary of Come By Chance; daughter-in-law Verna Stanley; sons Mike (Connie) of Stephenville; John (Barb) of Corner Brook; Denis (Pat) of Grand Falls-Windsor; Tony (Susan) of Vegreville, Alberta; son-in-law Pearce Saunders; thirty grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; along with a large circle of relatives and friends. Father Linus Coady conducted the funeral service at the Sacred Heart Parish in Bishop's Falls on May 17, 2005. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear and Lorna Mews of Central Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Falls Chemo Unit.
