It is with great sadness that the family of the late JEROME DOBER of Spanish Room announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin, on Sunday, October 13 2013, at the age of 73. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: brothers Bernard (Lenora) of Mooring Cove and Hubert of St. Lawrence; special niece Delores Brake (Mike Gervais); plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jerome was predeceased by his parents John and Theresa Dober; sisters Maude Dober, Mary Rideout, Helen Thorne, Bridget Brake and Rita Barry; brother Tom. At Jerome's request cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial in his memory will take place on Thursday, October 17th, at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at St. John Bosco Cemetery in Spanish Room. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerome's memory may be made to Daffodil Place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman's Funeral Homes, Marystown.
