It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annetta (Genita) MacNeil announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the age of 90 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Sr. Carmelita MacNeil pbvm of Deer Lake, Loretta (Derrick) Dawe of Stephenville, Rita MacNeil of Mount Pearl, Gloria (Clyde) Savidon of Kippens, Theresa (Ivan) MacDonald of Stephenville, Catherine (Fred) Flynn of Kippens and sons, Allan (Angela) MacNeil of Stephenville Crossing, William (Audrey) MacNeil of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Melvin MacNeil of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ted MacNeil (Dora McGrath) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Paul (Clarissa) MacNeil of Stephenville, Gary (Daphne) MacNeil of Stephenville, Kevin (Amanda) MacNeil of Stephenville, Hughie MacNeil (Melva Smith) of Stephenville, Martin MacNeil of Stephenville, grandchildren: Marina, Sonya, Stewart, Scott, Deanna, Nelson, Neil, Robert, Allan, André, Marcel, Laura, Kevin, Ian and great-grandchildren: Mason, Madison, Lila and brothers: Martin Gallant and Lawrence Gallant, both of Stephenville, sister, Bertha Madore of Stephenville, sisters-in-law, Jean Gallant and Marie MacNeil, both of Stephenville, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Neil J. MacNeil, Baby MacNeil, sisters, Elizabeth White, Rita Bardzykowski, Laetitia Gallant, brothers, Walter Gallant and William Gallant. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation or to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.

Anetta married Neil MacNeil. (Neil MacNeil was born in 1909 in Codroy Valley, Newfoundland, died on 14 Aug 1981 in Stephenville Newfoundland and was buried in Hillside Interfaith Cemetery - Stephenville, Newfoundland.)
