It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth White announce her passing at her residence on Sunday, August 8th, 1999 at the age of 84 years. She will be sadly missed by her five sons: Martin (Sybil) in Labrador, Bernie (Terri) in Stephenville, Ivan (Margaret) in Stephenville, Urban (Jackie) in Stephenville, and Clayton in Stephenville; five daughters: Linda (Leo) Cooper in Stephenville, Elaine (Jerry) Humber in Grand Falls, Gloria White in Grand Falls, Laura White in BC, Vicki White in Stephenville; three brothers: Martin Gallant in Stephenville, Clarence Gallant in Piccadilly, Lawrence Gallant in Stephenville; two sisters: Bertha Madore in Stephenville, and Genita MacNeil in Stephenville; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, and her son, Larus. Funeral service will take place Wednesday, August 11th, 1999 at 10 a.m. from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with cremation to follow at Russell's Crematorium in Stephenville. A Burial Service will take place Thursday, August 12th, at 11:30 a.m. at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral home, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville, Tuesday, August 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
