It is with great sadness that the family of Clarence Gallant announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at the age of 73. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Jean Gallant; eight children: Allan (Viola) of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Susan (Gerry) Aylward of St. Lawrence, Terry (Louise) of St. John's, Louise (Pierre) Lepaix of Marystown, Andrew (Lena), Mike (Carolyn) both of Mt. Pearl, Clarence Jr. (Joyce) of Stephenville, Ann Flynn of Wolfville, Nova Scotia; two brothers: Martin and Lawrence Gallant both of Stephenville; two sisters: Bertha Madore and Jenitta MacNeil also of Stephenville; thirteen precious grandchildren, as well a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Danny; brothers: Walter and Willie; sisters: Rita, Elizabeth and Littie. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 25 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville beginning Tuesday 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 2-4 p.m. Remainder of visitation will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Piccadilly on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m., Father Patry officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation or to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville.
