June 1993 -The Warrensburg News QUEENSBURY - Adolph B. Schoil, 84, of Manor Drive, Queensbury, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 8, 1993 at Glens Falls Hospital. Mr. Schoil was born in Utica, NY on June 15, 1908, the son of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Roth) Scholl. He received his education in Utica and his bachelor of science degree in science at Albany State Teacher's College, where he also studied music.
After one year in Hudson Falls, he taught in Farmingdale High School for Tour years. He received his master's degree in business education and did further graduate Work at New York University's Law School. Mr. Schoil served as department chairman, district coordinator and assistant principal of SHS Adult Education. He had taught science in the summers at Forest Park Boy's Camp in Warrensburg for several years. Prior to his move to Queensbury, he and his wife Mrytle had resided in Brant Lake, where they had attended the Horicon Baptist Church. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Glens Falls and the Golden K. Kiwansis of Glens Falls. He was predeceased by his first wife, Esther Schoil, who died in 1974 and one brother, Herman Schoil. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle (Todriff) Schoil of Queensbury; two daughters, Louise Williams of Argyle and Penny Citrolo of Castleton-onHudson; one son, Steven Schoil of Katonah; one brother, James Schoil of Baltimore, MD; one stepson, David Todriff of Brant Lake; one stepdaughter, Cathy Hayes of DeKalb; four grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren and several step greatgrandchildren.
Services were held on June June 9, 1993 at the Regan & Denny Funeral Home, Quaker Road, Queensbury with the Rev. Joel Hawthorne, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Glens Falls officiating. Internment was in the Brant Lake Cemetery.

Adolph married Esther Elmira Waters, daughter of Hiram Lorenzo Bennett and Sarah Almira Stewart. (Esther Elmira Waters was born on 22 Mar 1909 in Albany, Albany County, New York, died on 10 Jun 1974 and was buried in Brant Lake Cemetery in Horicon, New York.)
