...she did not die in 1887. I have an old photo taken of her in about 1888/1889. The photo of her and 5 generations of Straw family females. The youngest female was born late in 1886 in Wisconsin, and she is at least 2 to 3 years old in this photo. There is a much later photo taken of Betsey with five generations of Straw family females. In this photo Betsy shows that she is quite old. She did died by 1900. These photos had to be taken in Wisconsin because all the females in the photo were in Wisconsin at the time these photos would have been taken. (research of Ehistory2@aol.com - Jan 2008)

Betsey married Enoch Straw Jr, son of Enoch Straw and Elizabeth "Eliza" Blaisdell, on 14 Mar 1822 in Parsonsfield, York County, Maine. (Enoch Straw Jr was born on 19 Aug 1798 in Newfield, York County, Maine, died on 30 Sep 1887 in Iowa and was buried in Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada, Story County, Iowa.)
