Mrs Aurilla Dawson...widow of Thomas Dawson - died Mifflin..of infirmaties of old age....maiden name...Aurilla Alfred...d/o M/M Hezekiah Alfred ...born NYS 8 May 1820...reached the age of 87y 4m 2d....married to Thomas Dawson tho died some years ago...eight children...six of whom are living.....Barton Alfred, Hezekiah and William and Almira the w/o Samuel Stansberry all living near Brownstown and Susan the w/o Chester Straw of OK...two sons and her husband were veterans of the Civil War....funeral Thursday from Disciple Church at Brownstown of which she was a member....burial in Hendrickson Cemetery..."
