My Great Grandmother "Lillie" was the sister of Gilbert O. Straw. I have some information about Gilbert, other siblings and birth parents: Albert Straw and Harriet L. West Straw.

Searching for descendants of Gilbert O. (b 1862 WI or MN)& Mildred A. ( b. 1872 MN) Straw. Children were: Ralph E. (b 1892 SD m: Geraldine M.; had children: Florean M. b. abt 1925 & Millicent M. b. abt 1930); Lester "Ray" (b. 1898 SD); Mable L. (b. 1900 MN-school teacher); Horrace M. (b. abt 1906 SD); and Glen O. (b. abt 1909 SD).They lived in Morrison Co., MN in 1900. 1910 they were in Spink Co., SD. 1920 in Kelso City, WA. 1930 some of them were still in Kelso City, WA.Gilbert worked for the Railroad in all three states. My interest is with Gilbert's mother (or step-mother) Rachel (maiden=Parsons, 1st marriage=Cole) Straw when she was in MN(research of Denise Rancour on ancestry.com message board on 8 June 2003)

1870 - found a Lillian STRAW age 9 living in Hale, McLeod County, MN born c1861 living with Peter [age 48 OH] and wife Lydia [age 53 VT] Comer/Homer and their family. Next door are Derrick [age 55 OH] and Maria [ age 46 OH] Fuller where Gilbert [age 7 WI] and Charles Straw [ age 3 MN] are living. These 3 children are probable siblings and children of Albert E. and Harriet (West) Straw. Have parents died?

1880 Gilbert is living in Hutchinson, McLeod County MN with the David Ells HH. Charles is still with the Derrick Fuller family. Older brother Albert Bird Straw
is living in HH of Wm and Olive Gosnil as a "servant" in Acoma, McLeod County, MN. Lillian is either deceased or married.
