Nathan Burnham Straw purchased land in Canada in 1836 [Upper Canada: Land patents issued from 20 April 1836, and the 2 June next ensuing, prepared in compliance with an Address of the House of Assembly to that effect. 1,478 patents. Upper Canada: Papers Relating to Sir F. Bond-Head.
Certificates issued for Crown Lands Office from the 26 April to the 2 July, 1836 inclusive, so I think that the family moved up to Canada (Sue Phaneuf)
