Straw -- W.H. Bill Straw, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Leila Straw; daughter, Kathryn Volzer and husband, Lawrence; three grandchildren, Scott Volzer and wife, Debra, Robert Volzer and wife, Sheila and Lawrene Evans and husband, Dean; four great-grandchildren, Afton Evans, Brian Evans, Rebecca Volzer and David Volzer; brother, Richard Straw and wife, Mildred of Bedford Heights, OH; sister, Flora Jean Jenkins of Akron, OH; and sister-in-law, Elvanor Straw of Shelby, OH. Mr. Straw was a member of the Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Rio Rancho, Sandoval Lodge #76 A.F. & A.M., Eastern Star Turquoise Chapter #71 OES and Rio Rancho Kiwanis. Cremation has taken place and a Masonic memorial service will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Charles E. Price officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lovelace Hospice, 5400 Gibson Blvd. #18, 87108. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
