Removed from Seabrook, MA to Sanbornton in 1800; Revolutionary soldier

William "removed from Seabrook (or Salisbury, Mass) to Sanbornton, March, 1880, and settled where now his son Thomas resides (1881), on the place previously occupied (house built) by Joseph Hoyt, Lot No. 38, 2d Div. He married Betsey Eaton, sister of Capt. Reuben, in Seabrook, and was accompanied by his brother-in-law in the purchase of the farm. He had been a Revolutionary soldier, and was present at the battle of Bunker Hill. He died aged 83-8." - Rev. Runnels
Unknown if the three Eaton families of Sanbornton were related.
William and Betsey had the following children:
1) Josiah, b. Sept., 1780; lived in this town, and d. unm., 12 April 1861, aged 80-7.
2) Nancy, b. Oct., 1782; m. Joshua Dow, of Seabrook, and there d. Jan. 9, 1875, aged 92-3.
3) Dorothy, returned to Seabrook; m. Samuel Dow, of S., and there d.
4) Wheeler, b. Sept. 2, 1787 d. Sept. 1, 1871 tanner, shoemaker, farmer.
5) Judith, m. Reuben Eaton, of Weare, April 2, 1813.
6) Mariam (Meriam), m. Aaron Dow, of Alexandria, Sept. 8, 1811; afterwards lived in Sanbornton; removed to Weare, where he d. Jan. 9, 1853. Seven children.
7) Jane, b. Jan. 22, 1792; m. Josiah Swain.
8) RUTH, m. 1st David Flood [corrected to Daniel, p. 876]; m. 2nd Jesse Wiggin.
9) Thomas, b. May 9, 1797, in Salisbury, Mass.
10) Susan, b. 1799, in Salisbury, d. in Sanbornton, Dec. 23, 1801, in her 3rd year.
11) Joshua, b. July 4, 1801, in Sanbornton; here lived till 18 years of age, then went to sea; afterward m. Dorcas Eaton; settled in Seabrook, and there d., March 1, 1981, in his 70th year.
12) Betsey, m. Seth Noble Marshall, of Weare, Feb 23, 1831, and d. April 25, 1871. Three children.
13) Martha (Patty), m. William Marshall, of Weare, brother of the last, March 2, 1825.
