Mr. Michael Straw
Mr. Michael Richard "M.R." Straw, 55, of Sarasota, Fla., died Wednesday, April l, in Florida.
He was the husband of Joan C.Straw.
Born Oct 29,1942, in Montpelier,Vt., he was the son of Philip A. and Elnora of Sarasota.
Mr. Straw was a resident of Poolesville and the metro Washington, D.C., area from 1958 to 1979. He was a graduate of Poolesville High School and attended Montgomery Community College.
For the past 18 years, he owned and operated Philip, Michael & Co., a landscaping business in Sarasota.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Kristen T. Straw of Marietta, Ga., and Kimberly A.Guzewich of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Susan Greenman of Winfield,W.Va., and one brother, Peter D.Straw of Sarasota.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 8, in Sarasota. Memorial donations may be
made to the American Cancer Society,
The Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home, 7454 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota
