Roy K. Jones, age 95, of New Bloomington, Ohio, died Saturday July 14, 2012 at 4:40 AM at Community Healthcare Center in Marion, Ohio. He was born July 31, 1916 in Pedro, Ohio to the late William and Rosa (Stumbo) Jones. On July 18, 1936 he married Mabel Hutchinson and she died January 16, 1985.
Surviving are daughters Judy Jones and Marline (Harold) Straw both of New Bloomington. Eight Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Great Grandchildren. Sister Opal Johnson of Marion. He was preceded in death by son; Bill Jones, daughter Hilda Jones, one Great Granddaughter, sisters; Lorena Cline and Eliza Hosey, brothers; William, Charles, Chester, Ernie, and Kermit Jones.
Mr. Jones worked in maintenance at Marion General Hospital, served in the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II. Was a member of the New Bloomington Council and Volunteer Fire Department for many years.
Funeral Services will be held Monday July 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be The Rev. Grover Caudill. Burial in the Agosta Cemetery. Family will receive friends from Noon to 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral Home.

Roy married Mabel Hutchinson on 18 Jul 1936 in Ohio. (Mabel Hutchinson was born on 20 Feb 1916 in Ohio, died on 16 Jan 1985 in Ohio and was buried in Agosta Cemetery in New Bloomington, Ohio.)
