GEORGE F. UNDERWOOD ACTS AS HOST AT NEW YEAR'S DINNER FOR RELATIVES
A $6000.00New Year's Eve dinner was given at the Warren house in Warrensburg wednesday afternnon at 1 O'Clock by george F. Underwood of new York to a party of relatives living in this locality. In the gathering were six first cousins of mr Underwood, to each of whom he presented during the dinner an envelope containing a registered bond bearing interest at 5 per cent.

In the article George was said to be "formerly a resident of Fort Edward. He was for many years a lumberman and is well known throughout this section. Some years ago he was made superintendent of woodlands for the International Paper Co. and later became Vice president of the company. His duties called him to New York. He has a beautiful summer camp at Underwood where he entertains lavishly during the season. He has become very wealthy but to his friends he is the same George Underwood he was in days of yore."
