I came across the Straw Family History website (thanks for sharing all this data) and found a branch related to the Bennett line. I don't know if Elias Bailey & Jane Ford are in your direct line - but I discovered that Jane Ford was a sister to my ancestor Maria (Ford) Hughey due to the fact that Jane's son Wallace was living with her in the 1880 Census. Jane was born in Ireland and perhaps came to Argyle, NY c. 1853 with her sister Maria. They may also be related to A James Ford who lived in Argyle. I have a attached a link to my database if you are interested. I have been digging into these Scots-Irish lines now that I have done the ancestry.com <http://ancestry.com/> dna testing and may actually have a chance at finding more clues about these families.
