He enlisted in expedition against Crown point in May 1756 and discharged Dec 1756 from Hampstead, NH, Samuel Watt's Co, Col Nathaniel Merserves's Regt. The records of the War Dept, Wash. DC show that one Zebediah Heath served in Rev War as a Private. Entered service 4 May 1775 and served 3 mos 5 days. MIA July 1777 in a battle against Burgoyne near Valley Forge and declared dead Aug 1777.
Zebediah married Lydia circa 1755. (Lydia was born in 1757 in Chatham, Barnstable, Massachusetts and died on 3 Nov 1818 in Groton, Caledonia County, Vermont.)
