Robert Gene DAVIS, 66, of County Road 427 Auburn, died Tuesday, August 9, 1994, at DeKalb Memorial Hospital. He had suffered a heart attack at his home. He taught for 35 years in schools at Prairie Heights, Shipshewana, Northrop High School in Fort Wayne, Pleasant Mills High School and at Edon, Ohio. He retired in 1989.
He was born March 26, 1928, to Dale F. and Rose (MOSER) DAVIS in Mercer County, Ohio. His parents are both deceased. He married Beth Ann STRAW November 9, 1951. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons; Bruce G. of Indianapolis and Barry J. of Fort Wayne; two daughters; Bobbie CANTU of Fort Wayne and Brenda BRETER of Port Orange, Fla.; a brother; Larry D. of Wren, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Private family visitation and services are scheduled for Zwick-Sefton & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
