Born Catherine Bowsher, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, married Jesse Justus, Jackson Twp, Pickaway County, Ohio on 13 Jan 1812.
Catherine moved to Piatt County with some of her children about 1853. She died in Monticello, 8 Sep 1855. Catherine was widowed in Pickaway County, Ohio, in 18 Nov 1851 with death of husband Jesse Justus. Her sons moved on to Kansas, and daughters stayed in Piatt County: Hellen Clarissa Justus Ross, wife of John Milton Ross of Piatt County, and daughter Mary Justus Harmon Austin, buried in 1865 in Old Monticello Cemetery.
