Ebenezer, son of Lt. Benjamin and Joanna Page Farley, was married to Betty Wheeler on 6 November 1766 in Hollis. He died in Hollis and is reportedly buried in the church (Congregational) cemetery in Hollis, known as Hollis Central Burial Ground and Old Churchyard Cemetery and Congregational Church Cemetery. (See "Revolutionary Graves of New Hampshire."
He was a Revolutionary War participant, serving both NH and MA. He served at Lexington in 1776. Ebenezer's brothers Stephen and Christopher were also Revolutionary War veterans.
He purchased of the Mortgagee the Thomas Nevins place, situated near Pennichuck Pond in the northeast part of Hollis, for the sum of four hundred pounds Continental money, and settled there about 1780.
