HICKEY-HEPDITCH, Lucy - Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John's on Sunday, January 9, 2005 with her family by her side, Lucy Hickey Hepditch of Southern Harbour, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husbands Anthony Hickey and Ted Hepditch; sons Henry and John P.; grandson Derick Hickey; granddaughter Amanda Hickey; step-son Felix; step-daughter Mildred; sister Jane Ann; brothers Richard and Patrick Brewer. Leaving to mourn her daughters Frances (Gordon), Southern Harbour; Mary (Raymond), Sunnyside; Mercedes Hackett, Brooks, AB; Elizabeth (Gregory), Foxtrap and Jane Ann (Derick), Come-by-Chance; sons Albert (Anne), Southern Harbour and Anthony (Elsia), Arnold's Cove; daughters-in-law Hilda (Dave), St. John's and Gladys, Southern Harbour; step-daughters Marion (Ken) Halifax, NS; Phyllis, Toronto, ON; Yvonne (Jim), St. John's; Bride (Francis), Red Cliff; Geraldine, Vancouver, BC and Evelyn, St. John's; step-sons Fergus, Vancouver, BC; Jim, Southern Harbour and Eugene, Hay River, NWT; thirty-one grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour from where the funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Christ The King Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour.
