General Notes: per research of Terry French he was a Scottish soldier captured in final battle of the British War and brought to colonies and sold as indentured worker to a Thomas Kemble of Charlestown in the spring of 1652. (per THE BOOK OF ROSS a typed unpub. manuscript by E. Fewkes and housed in NEHGS in Boston John married Mary Barrett, daughter of James Barrett and Unknown. (Mary Barrett was born about 1646 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.) |
