My son and daughter are Patrick John Dale and Tiffany Kathryn Dale. Their mother is Susanna Maria Moore.Her father was Henry Moore, his father was Earl Moore (buried at Emmitsburg), his father and mother were William Ronselor Moore and Elizabeth Straw Moore. Williams father was J. H. Moore. It has been handed down that Elizabeth was Indian. There is even mention of the Trail of Tears associated with her family.

W. R. Moore passed away at his home in Fairfield township on Sunday morning, January 21
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery here. Six grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
William Ranseler Moore was born at Brock, Ontario, Canada, on October 29, 1848. He was the second child of John and Lucinda Moore.
In 1S65 he came to the United States with his parents and located in Dodge county, Wisconsin. In 1868 he came to Winneshiek county, Iowa.There he united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth Straw. They continued to reside there until 1878 when they came to Palo Alto county and settled in Fairfield township....eight children - two boys died in infancy..daughter Mrs Clara Oleson preceded her father in death...surviving are son Earl and four daughters - Mrs. Mae Dickison (Cora); Mrs Mark Dyer (Mae); Mrs Fulton C. Nelson (Gertrude) and Mrs Henry Dyer (Eunice)...also his wife of 55 years,, now 81 yrs of age and one brother L. J. Moore of Franklin, Nebraska
