recollections of JO Foster her First cousin once removed:
After the death of her mother[ who died at age 66] she and her father continued to live on the farm until 1960 when her father became despondent and took his life with a gun. Helen sold the farm and married Willard Belden, a widower, and they moved to a home on Black Point Rd in Ticonderoga.
Although confined to a Nursing Home in Vermont,after falling at age 100 and breaking her leg, Helen lived to be just short of her 105th birthday.Her mind remained intact until the end.

Helen married Willard Belden about 1961 in Crown Point, Essex County, New York. (Willard Belden was born on 25 Jul 1896 and died on 5 Jan 1994 in Ticonderoga, Essex County, New York.)
