She was Mrs Julia Ann Taupley or Talpey married to Richard Talpey. In 1850 she and Richard were living in Dover, Strafford County NH with their two daughters, Helen A. and Susan F. By 1860 Julia is married to Cyrus Welch and her two daughters are also in the HH. [Either divorced from Richard or he is deceased]

Julia married Cyrus Brackett Welch, son of Andrew Welch and Elizabeth Welch, on 26 Dec 1852 in Parsonsfield, York County, Maine. (Cyrus Brackett Welch was born in 1817 in Parsonsfield, York County, Maine, died on 30 Jul 1869 and was buried in Welch Cemetery in Parsonsfield, ME.)

Julia next married Richard Talpey, son of Richard Talpey and Susan Caswell, on 10 Feb 1842 in Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire. (Richard Talpey was born circa 1815 in Maine and died in 1850-1852.)
