Marvin married Rodema Jessup, she died in a house fire.
Marvin then married her sister Alice Carey Jessup Straw, who is still living. Her DOB is 4-15-1924. They were married on 6-12-1942. They have five children, one of them is deceased.

Alice Carrie Straw (nee) Jessup, 85, died at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer on July 10, 2009.
Alice was born in Duluth, Minn., to John and Edith Jessup on April 15, 1924. Her parents moved to Comstock when she was a young girl. She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1941. She married Marvin W. Straw on June 12, 1943, and they farmed in the Barronett area until his death in 1972. She enjoyed gardening, watching the birds and squirrels, cooking, quilting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Corky (Kathy) Straw, Linda Straw, Patti (Gene) Hiber and Connie (Dick) Degneau, sister, Rosie Glessing; brother, John Jessup; 11 grandchildren and 17great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin; son, Larry; sister, Rodema; brother, Jim; brother-in-law, Robert "Butch" Glessing; sister-in-law, Shirley Jessup; and great-grandson, Ethan.
At her request, her remains will be cremated and buried next to her husband in a private family ceremony.

Alice married Marvin Willard Straw, son of William Lawrence Straw and Hattie Annie Borman, on 12 Jun 1943. (Marvin Willard Straw was born on 11 Mar 1916 in Murray Co. MN, died on 1 Feb 1972 in Cumberland, Barron County, Wisconsin and was buried on 4 Feb 1972 in Lake Side Cemetery in Baronett, Barron County, Wisconsin.)
