Benjamin Rand, first son of Robert K. Rand and Amy Averill Rand.
The Robert Rand Family was living in Westminster, Vermont in 1790 when the census was taken. Their household at that time included 2 males over sixteen years, 2 males under sixteen years, one male between twenty-six and forty five and one over forty-five.
Robert and Amy settled on a grant of fifty acres at Westminster, Windham County, Vermont. They were among the first settlers in the area. All of their children were born there
