Naideen was involved in Roberts Mothers Club, GT Club, Home Extension for over 50 years, and a member of the Roberts Grange Hall. She helped organize the Volunteer Fire Department for Roberts and Halls Ferry correspondence for the Statesman for Roberts and Halls Ferry. She worked as an election official and did census. Naideen helped organize and build the Square Dance Center, she participated in three square dance clubs and when her children were young she volunteered as Brownie, Campfire, and Cub Scouts leaders. She was very active in the South Salem Seniors and loved her family, traveling, fishing, gardening and quilting.Naideen is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Martsfield; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and JoAnn Martsfield of Keizer; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Doyle Rogers of Woodburn, Linda and Roddy Sloper of Salem, and Mary and Daryl Greenberg of Salem; brother Wayne Straw of Salem; 10 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-great-grandchild.Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tue. Jan. 24, 2006 at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O.
