This gentleman was my g-g-g-g-grandfather. I am trying to find more about him, and his predecessors. I believe he may have been born in or around New Hampshire, as his first child, Jonathan, was reportedly born in New Hampshire. I am surmising that he married his wife, Elizabeth, in New Hampshire around 1802 (a year before their son was born).
Benjamin and Elizabeth had one other known child, a daughter named Mary Emily Hunt; she may have been born around 1804 in New Hampshire.
Benjamin's son married Hannah French around 1826, probably in New York. They had the following children:
