"The sadest event that has occurred in Towanda in years, was the sudden death of Frank Straw. He grew from a little boy to manhood and recieved his education here. He married Miss Verna Cupp daughter of Dan Cupp who survives him as does three sweet little children and his aged parents Mr and Mrs Julius Straw who are in very poor health.
