Obituary for Margie Lou Puthuff
Margie Lou was born on March 3, 1931 in Cherokee, OK to Frank and Nancy (Sallee) Straw. She passed away at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid, OK on March 23, 2018 at the age of 87 years and 12 days.
She attended school at Short Spring, Oklahoma and received her diploma. After high school she then began working for Bell Telephone Company as a telephone operator.
Then on May 1, 1964 in Oakland, CA she married William Luther Puthuff.
They traveled to many different places while William served in the Coast Guard.
She is preceded in death by her husband William, parents, four sisters, and two brothers.
Margie is survived by her niece Darlene Malecki of Arlington Heights, IL. nephew John Krob of Alva, OK and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
The family requested a private internment at the Short Springs Cemetery

Margie married William Luther Puthuff on 1 May 1964 in California. (William Luther Puthuff was born on 9 Jun 1927 in Erik, Oklahoma, died on 1 Jan 2005 in Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma and was buried in Short Spring Cemetery in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma.)
