Ann Connors
A. F. O'Connor claims this Aunt married George Follett. He claims she was his Godmother. According to the family records sheet I obtained in 1980 from the St. Mary's Church in Placentia, his godparents are listed as John Bennett and Annie Connors [Ann did marry Geo Follett c1906/07.] There is a John Bennett listed in the 1921 Census and he is shown to be married to a Mary who was born in Meresheen (Island in Placentia Bay which is proximal to Clattice Harbor area.) There must be some kind of connection to the Connors Family as listed living in the household with John and wife Mary are two children, Christina Connors born Dec 1901 (age 20 and single) and Peter Connors born January 1900 (age 21 and single) ..both born in Clattice Harbor.They are described as step children of John Bennett.[They were Mary (Wilson) Connors Bennett's children by her first husband Patrick Connors who died before 1911.]
Ann married George Follett, son of Patrick Follett and Mary Agnes Hepditch, on 28 Jan 1906 in Bar Haven, Newfoundland. (George Follett was born on 3 Nov 1879 in Clattice Harbor, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, died on 19 Mar 1962 in Clattice Habor, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland and was buried in Clattice Harbor SW Cemetery - Newfoundland.)
