Louis Christian Fries died May 16, 1907, aged 42, at his home four miles north of Mound City, Mo. He was born in Sullivan county, New York on Oct. 12, 1865. He moved to Oregon, Mo., with his parents in Jan. of 1872.
He married Miss Kittie Gillis in March of 1901. He leaves his wife, father, three sisters and four brothers.
Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery at Mound City, Mo.
