Minerva Cole. Daniel Andrus came to Illinois from Westfield, NY by ox team in 1833 and settled on a farm 25 miles south of Chicago. He moved to Harlem, IL in 1837. Known children: Alonzo; Joel [m. Sally Atwood] and both are buried in Roscoe Cemetery; Erastus Valerus; Sally; Samantha; and Alvarado.
Daniel married Minerva Cole, daughter of Seth Cole and Celea Sampson. (Minerva Cole was born on 14 Jun 1793 in Paris, Oneida County, NY, died on 30 Jul 1872 in Harlem, Winnebago County, IL and was buried in Roscoe Cemetery in Winnebago County, Illinois.)
