Charlotte Straw, 87, Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Ave., died of heart aliment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. The body will be cremated and no services are planned.
Mrs. Straw was born in Meadville, Pa. and lived in Florida many years, moving to Des Moines five years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Unitarian Church.
Survivors include her husband, David of Des Moines; and two sons, William of Waukee and David, Jr. of Lindenhurst, Ill. Memorial Contributios may be made to the Association for Retarded Citizens Foundation. Arrangements are being handled by McLarson's Funeral Home
